Caught 画皮 on Channel 62 just now.
Thats the wonders of having movie channels like that,
you are kept entertained by movies throughout the day.
Really interesting story.
Obviously as the story advanced we are inclined to lend our support to Pei Rong(the female lead) and also be angry at how blind Wang Sheng(her husband) is.
Come on,
despite what he claims,
he just had simple lust towards the antagonist here,
Xiao Wei.
LOL sorry Xiao Wei.
Ok anyway,
I was kinda amazed actually by how good Qi Yu Wu is in his role.
I thought he did pretty well actually as that chameleon demon role.
He harboured feelings for Xiao Wei,
helping her in what she wanted to accomplish,
despite her plainly stating she was just simply using him and for nothing else.
Love in one of her forms here again.
The willingness to sacrifice for your love ones.
This theme is touched upon further later.
At the same time,
it is easy to be disgusted over what Xiao Wei was doing to keep her looks,
eating human hearts.
Making use of Qi Yu Wu(forget his stage name wtf)'s love for her to devise her scheming ways.
But really,
what struck me was not Pang Yong's undying love for Pei Rong despite her already being married,
but instead the scene in which Pei Rong struck the deal with Xiao Wei.
Being devious,
Xiao Wei plotted to get Wang Sheng all to herself cause of what she claimed as her love for him.
She posed a threat especially,
with her ability to kill so easily.
Mistrust had been sowed deep already with Xiao Wei winning over points among the generals.
But the final straw had to be when she made Pei Rong struck a deal,
Pei Rong was to drink this poison which would ultimately disfigure her,
making her look like a demon and then claiming to be behind the attacks,
and finally,
kill her.
All this was planned for Xiao Wei to get a clear route towards Wang Sheng.
But,
what struck me hard was not the way Pei Rong struggled to make the deal because of her fear of dying,
but rather her fear of Wang Sheng dying.
Even towards her death,
she made Wang Sheng believed that she was a demon and wanted to die with a tarnished impression in Wang Sheng.
But at least Wang Sheng still harboured deep love for his wife,
and in classic Romeo and Juliet style,
he killed himself after Pei Rong killed herself.
Blah blah skip the fights.
All ended well though when Xiao Wei struggled to come to terms with her 'love' for Wang Sheng which was undoubtedly not as strong as Pei Rong's love which was to be marveled actually.
The only thing she did right was to allow her Thousand year essence to revive all the fallen,
killing herself in the process.
So in classic chessy movies like that,
evil demons all died out and the heroes came back to life.

Pei Rong and Wang Sheng's love was strong.
To the point of enviable.
I wonder,
in life now,
is it possible that Love like that still exists?
To the point that we are able to drop everything.
Not just our lives mind you.
But up till death,
drop the good image your loved one has for you.
Allow him/her to wrong you even when you are dead.
That would take immerse courage,
or rather for the matter.
Love.

There is this weird stereotype on most tv serials I seen.
Somehow, evil villians are often balding or something,
no hair.
Wtf.
We met our own real life villian.
Seriously wtf.
He even gave us details and pep talk liao.
Then told us to meet him and blah and what to do during work.
And the day before starting work,
he tells us.
Oh you are not needed anymore,
I got meself some full-time helpers.
:D
FARK.
Damn it lah.
I bet right,
he actually looking for his full-time people le.
But they never reply his stupid balding head.
Then he look for us kias to sub in for him.
After they confirm to work for him then he will throw us aside.
Lucky we never even work 1 day yet.
Later he chuck us aside after 1 day then say no pay for us cause we never work the intended 2 weeks.
Faggots.
If the society is made of such faggots,

On the bright side,
more time to slack and play.

No money into pocket.

Guitar trial sucked.
My strumming was totally goodgame.

What i would give to get trust.
I wonder about the point of living at times.
In a world like ours
where greed, selfishness, corruption seems to be ruling the world instead.
Chih answered a question of mine during lunch.
I asked,
Why isit that a group of people
is allowed to pass laws to convict people.
Arent we all humans.
What gives them the right?
His answer was
something along the lines of (i forgot lah-.-)
There is a group of humans needed to keep peace.
But how should we trust this group of humans?
It isnt fair.
Nothing in this world is.
There was a Fantastic Four story i just read.
well i dont expect many people to understand.
But its okay.
Reed Richards was trying to destroy Latveria,
Otherwise known as Doctor Doom's country.
Well in a way you cant blame poor Richards.
Doom nearly destroyed everything Richards had previously.
His children, his best mate, his wife.
His life.
Doom had weapons at his disposal.
Weapons taht could destroy earth a few times over.
Well to cut a story short the UN got scared of Richards (who declared himself monarch of Latveria LOL), scared that he will use the weapons against the other countries.
Poof.
There nearly was war.
The other countries vs USA.
USA vs Fantastic Four.
Not cutting into details of the story.
But such a scenario.
May come true.
Cool isnt it.
Comics are literature haha.
Thing is, humans are paranoid.
We are all scared of one another.
Yet we try to be better and stronger than them,
But we are scared they will be better and stronger
and kick us about.
Nasty little hyprocrites arent we.
